Hekima was part of the Projekt Feenix Hip-Hop crew making his name as a rapper but always wanted to work on his own roots album.
In 2009 Hekima left the Feenix crew to do just this. Along with Stewart and The Warren centre Hekima has been working on music honing in of his craft and songs until June last year when Hekima and Stewart put together a full live band for the Refugee Week festival.
Due to the success of this performance the demand was on to push this band further so they went on to play the Love Music Hate Racism show at The Hull City Hall and are currently playing the circuit around Hull before heading out of town and beyond.
Their shows are already getting talked about after only a couple of appearances due to their unique mix of Reggae / HipHop / and roots African style 'The Cocktail' which you can not help but dance to.
