London, UK – (Release Date – 30/11/2011) – MootZoot, a band whose mix of old school and new age sounds can best be described as “Heavy Soul”, are releasing their debut album, Moving On, this Autumn. Two years in the making, the album’s unique sound was created by fusing the various musical tastes of the band’s members into what has become a powerful and soulful genre. Booked into some of the capitals most respected music venues over the coming months (Proud, Camden; Cafe 1001, Brick Lane), the band are currently preparing their live show and readying themselves for a busy end to the year, with a UK tour to follow in Summer 2012.

Charmaine Wombwell, the stunning singer and co-writer of the band, recently said of the album in an interview “I’m really proud of this piece of work. I feel it reflects the years of creativity and effort that have been put in and that we have created something powerful and beautiful.”
